• 평균점수가 동점일 경우 최고, 최하점수를 합산한 총점으로 등위 결정
• 총점도 동점일 경우 숙련성, 표현성, 정확성의 높은 점수 순으로 한다.
• 평균점수, 총점, 숙련성, 표현성, 정확성의 점수까지도 동점일 경우 재경기 한다.
• (재경기는 1개의 품새를 시연해서 결정한다)

손날격파는 국기원이 발행한 태권도교본의 손날에 대한 설명에 준해 일정한 높이의 격파대에 설치된 격파물을 수직으로 내려치는 격파기술을 의미한다.

• 격 파 물 :
  • 파벽돌 Children (초등부)- 20cm+7cm+1.5cm

• 의무사항
  1. 선수는 출전 대기 시 자신의 판단에 따라 격파물 매수를 신청해야 한다.

  2. 격파물은 조직위원회에서 정한 것으로 한다.
  3. 선수는 부상을 방지하기 위해 격파물 위에 조직위원회가 제공하는 보호물을 놓을 수 있다.
     단, 선수의 손날 및 팔목부위에는 어떠한 보호대도 부착할 수 없다.
  4. 손날격파는 새끼손가락 첫마디 옆 부분부터 손목 앞부분을 이용해 격파해야 한다.
  5. 격파는 1회 가격을 원칙으로 하며, 격파 시작 구령 후 20초 이내에 격파가 이뤄져야 한다.
  6. 격파물을 쌓는 시간은 1분을 초과할 수 없으며, 격파물을 놓기 위한 받침대의 넓이를 임의 조정할 수 없다.
  7. 격파자는 심판과 정면으로 마주한 채 격파해야 한다.
  8. 격파를 위해 한걸음도 이동할 수 없다.
• 격파기술
  1. 디딤 발이 지면에서 떨어지는 것은 응용기술로 한다.
• 벌칙(경고, 감점, 실격)
  • 벌칙의 선언은 주심이 한다.
  • 벌칙은 경고, 감점, 실격으로 규정한다.
    • 가. 경고 1회는 –0.5점으로 한다.
    • 나. 경고 2회는 감점 1회와 같다.
    • 다. 감점 1회는 -1.0점으로 하며, 감점 1.0점은 격파물 1장과 동일하다.
  • 경고
    • 가. 타인 격파 시 의도적 방해목적인 언행을 했을 경우
    • 나. 경연 중 심판 및 진행요원의 진행에 따르지 않고 방해를 했을 경우
  • 감점
    • 가. 격파를 위한 예비동작에서 손날이 격파물에 닿아 격파물이 손상이 되었다고 판단 되는 경우
    • 나. 경미한 행위일지라도 경고선언 후 다시 같은 행위를 범하거나 의도적으로 심하게 행위를 반복 했을 경우
    • 다. 의무사항을 위반하였을 경우
  • 벌칙감점은 최종점수에서 감한다.
  • 실격
    • 가. 격파 후 선수의 무릎 이상의 어떠한 신체부위라도 바닥에 닿았을 경우(무릎은 허용)
    • 나. 팔목만을 사용해 격파했을 경우
    • 다. 격파 시 세운 편주먹 또는 메주먹으로 격파했을 경우
    • 라. 부정행위를 통해 격파했을 경우
  • 경연의 판정
    1. 격파종료 후 격파과정에 대해 심판 전원이 문제 제기를 하지 않을 시 격파수량을 확인한다. 단, 한명의 심판이라도 문제를 제기할 시 영상판독을 실시한다.
    2. 격파된 격파물 수량이 많은 선수가 승자가 된다.
    3. 격파된 격파물 수량이 동일할 경우 신청 수량이 많은 선수를 우선으로 한다.
    4. 신청수량 적용 후에도 동점일 때는 체중이 적은 선수를 승자로 한다.

  •  정확성 : 동작의 정확성(20점) 및 기술동작(20점)
  • 예술성 : 음악과 동작의 조합성(30점), 동작의 다양성과 창조성(30점)으로 한다.

  “Recognized Poomsae” refers to the set of poomsae designated and approved by Kukkiwon.

• General Classification

  • Group A: Registered athletes in the 2025 Korea Taekwondo Association (KTA) athlete registry

• Only athletes who are registered in Individual events may participate in Pair or Team events.

• Match Format

  • All athletes are required to bring their own personal protective gear, including arm and shin guards, groin guard, mouthpiece, instep guards, and hand protectors.
    Athletes without proper gear will not be allowed to compete.
    

  • Athletes in Group A must bring their own KPNP foot sensor.

  • Chest protectors and headgear will be provided by the Organizing Committee.

• Individual Match Rules (Best-of-3 Rounds System)

• Additional Rules:

  1. No Golden Round applied.

  2. If an athlete receives 5 penalties within a round, that round is considered lost.

  3. If a 12-point gap is reached at the end of Round 2 or at any time during round 3, the match ends by point gap victory.

  The knifehand breaking technique follows the guidelines described in the official Taekwondo textbook published by Kukkiwon. It refers to a vertical downward strike performed with the outer edge of the hand, targeting a fixed board at a standardized height.

• Match Format

  • Event Type : Individual event (4-athlete cut-off group format)

  • Round Time : Within 20 seconds

  • Uniform : WT-approved dobok, color dobok permitted

  • Required Technique  : Knifehand strike 

  • Participants : 1 athlete per entry

• Breaking Material

• Participation Rules

  1. Athletes must declare the number of breaking materials before their match.

  2. All breaking materials will be provided and standardized by the Organizing Committee.

  3. For safety, athletes may place a provided soft pad on top of the breaking materials, but no protection is allowed on the hand or wrist.
  4. The knifehand strike must use the section from the side of the pinky’s first knuckle to the front side of the wrist.
  5. Only one attempt is allowed. The attempt must be completed within 20 seconds of the referee’s signal.
  6. Setup time must not exceed 1 minute, and the support stand must not be modified.
  7. The athlete must face the judges directly during the attempt.
  8. No stepping motion is allowed during the strike.
  9. Lifting the base foot off the ground during the strike is allowed as an advanced technique.

• Penalties (Warnings, Deductions, Disqualification)

  • Declared and enforced by the center referee
  • Warning (–0.5 pts); two warnings = 1 deduction (–1.0 pt)
  • 1 deduction equals the loss of 1 board
• Warnings may be given for:
  • Interfering with another athlete’s attempt
  • Disobeying or disrupting officials/judges during the event
• Deductions may be given for:
  • Accidental contact that damages the board during preparation
  • Repeated or intentional misconduct after a warning
  • Violation of mandatory participation rules
• Disqualification occurs if:
  • Any body part above the knee touches the floor after breaking
  • Breaking is performed using the wrist only
  • Using a fist (forefist or hammerfist) to break
  • Evidence of cheating or manipulation

• Judging & Decision

  1. If no judge objects to the attempt, the number of successfully broken boards is recorded as final.
     1. If any judge raises concern, a video review will be conducted.
  2. The athlete who breaks the most boards wins.
  3. If tied, the athlete who attempted to break more boards wins.
  4. If still tied, the athlete with the lighter body weight wins.

• Performance Description

Participants present a creative gymnastics-style routine composed of continuous Taekwondo-based movements, synchronized with music. The performance should express both:

• • Technical Accuracy (value and correctness of Taekwondo techniques, synchronization)
  • Artistic Quality (harmony with music, creativity, and movement variety)
• Scoring Criteria (heading noted, details likely follow in next section)

• Penalties (Warnings, Deductions, Disqualification)
  • Warning (1st): –0.5 points
  • Two warnings = 1 deduction
  • Deduction (1 time): –1.0 point
• Deductions are applied for the following:
  • Inappropriate or disruptive behavior
  • Interfering with referees or staff during the performance
  • Performance under or over time: –3 pts per 10 seconds outside the time limit
  • Team size violation: –1 pt per person under or over the allowed range
  • Crossing the performance area boundary: –3 pts
• Disqualification:
  • If the actual performers differ from the registered names on the application form
• Final Judging
  1. The team with the highest final score wins
  2. If tied, the team with the higher sum of highest + lowest judge scores wins
  3. If still tied, a rematch is conducted
  4. If the rematch also results in a tie, the teams will be declared co-champions
